At ASD – A Home for Life, we believe in celebrating our team members and giving them their flowers while they’re here to receive them. 💐

Our Verbal Flowers tradition was inspired by the memory of Isaac Henry, a cherished resident and team member whose spirit and legacy continue to inspire the work we do every day.

Each quarter, a silver vase engraved with the honoree’s name is passed forward as a symbol of appreciation, gratitude, and the lasting impact each recipient leaves on ASD.

Saturday evening, we came together at The Hidden Door Dallas for The Roast of Donna Dumae— and while the Dallas heat was definitely showing off 😅🔥, it couldn’t compete with the laughter, love, and energy inside!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took the stage, shared stories, performed, donated incredible auction items, and helped make this celebration possible — you made a difference. ❤️
Most of all, thank you to Donna Dumae for the many years of love, laughter, fundraising, and support she has given to ASD and our community.

We are incredibly grateful to DGRY, United Court of the Lone Star Empire, Firedancers, DFW Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Dallas Bears, Onyx Lonestar, TGRA Dallas Chapter , NLA-Dallas, emcee Euphonious Onyx, and everyone who helped bring this special evening together.
