One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to reinvent everything before they even understand what already works.

Success leaves clues.

If someone already has a proven recipe, follow it long enough to understand why it works before you start changing ingredients.

Too many people try to “do their own thing” before they have ever mastered the basics.
