Good Shepherd Student Ministry

What a great day of service at Good Shepherd! We prepped, baked, and served lasagnas (made from scratch) for about 400 homeless men and women in downtown Dallas. It was a lot of work and we so grateful for all the help!

Our Club 45 (4th and 5th graders) met tonight for a fun evening of games, pizza, and a fun lesson exploring Lent and Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness. We had such a great night! We’ll be back on April 13th for a fun outing to Adventure Landing.

Join us on Sunday, April 6th for a trip to FreePlay Arcade in Richardson. The cost is $12 and you can register on Realm. If you would like snacks or lunch, please bring extra money for that.

This fantastic group fed over 400 homeless men and women at Austin Street tonight. They did it while rocking the hair nets and plastic aprons. They made it look good! Way to go and thanks for a job well done!

Due to low sign-up numbers, I’ve had to cancel this weekend’s bowling outing. Be on the lookout for our next event on February 23- Chili Cook-off and Family Game Night. Hope you will come!

We had a great time at Quiggly’s pottery painting yesterday!

Join us this Sunday! We will meet at 11:45am, eat pizza and then head to Richardson to paint. Please bring $20-$40 to buy your pottery. We will return by 3pm. Please RSVP to Lauren

I think this group fed between 160-170 tonight. Our biggest Epiphany Spaghetti Dinner to date. They cooked, served and did all the kitchen clean up. They were fantastic and did an AMAZING job and I am so proud of this crew!

Our 4 Annual Youth Group Progressive Dinner was a success! Thank you to the Macha’s and Snyder’s for hosting us and all the parents for donating food. We look forward to seeing you all after the New Year.

It’s our 4th Annual Youth Group Progressive Dinner Christmas Party.

The youth group will meet at the church to load on buses for appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Parents can register their student through Realm or contact Lauren Wainwright ([email protected]).

Bring a gift under $10 for a gift exchange. Bring a friend, wear a tacky sweater, and celebrate the season with us! The dinner will be this Sunday, December 15 from 4:30pm - 7:30pm

What a great day of service! Youth packed boxes this morning that will be mailed off to college students and a few of our high school boarding school students before final exams. Also, another great group of youth served dinner tonight at Austin Street. Way to go everyone!

Join us this Sunday at 9:15AM in the Youth Room to paint and carve pumpkins! All the supplies will be provided we just need you to show up!
