Sometimes we do not fully realize in real time how much our words and communication affect the way we are perceived, because words matter. 🤔

I’ve been self teaching since 2018, and every year I’ve been adding more to what I can build. One of my latest updates was integrating Stripe and FlyInkPay into http://shop.flyinkmack.com, so customers can check out with card, Apple Pay, Cash App Pay, Link, or Bitcoin. That might sound simple from the outside, but it takes frontend, backend, payments, mobile checkout, customer flow, security, and branding all working together. I build websites, shops, booking systems, payment flows, dashboards, automation tools, and custom platforms for creators and businesses. I’m still learning, but I’m also building real systems people can use.

Do your genealogy and talk to your family before older generations pass on and valuable history, knowledge, and records are lost forever. A lot of people don’t realize how colonization, forced assimilation, displacement, and genocide impacted family history, identity, language, and cultural roots across generations. A lot of people make it out the hood, get money, and build a name, but still choose ego, pride, and street validation over everything that really matters. You might need to reassess your values, because your values be messed up if you are ready to lose your freedom, throw away God, your family, your business, and your future just for an image you were supposed to outgrow.

Grateful for 34 years 🎉

As I get ready to go into 34 this year, I’m looking back on my life and realize that I have influenced a lot of people, and I’m grateful. Even though some treat me like I’m nothing, it’s amazing to see how many people’s lives I’ve impacted who are now entrepreneurs and business owners.

I’ve been doing business since I was 6 years old with my granny, helping with Avon, candy, and a nachos house. At 12, I got hired by a guy who built and sold futons, and he taught me how to build them and sell them.

I learned how to sell, serve people, and stay consistent through hard times like 9/11, recessions, the housing crash, and financial crises. I started this path because my grandmother got dementia, and I wasn’t able to help her continue her Avon business like I was supposed to.

I was young and ignorant, and it led me into the tattoo and piercing industry, which she did not agree with at first. As she watched me build, work, and stay consistent, she understood it more and accepted it before she passed in June 2015. Thank you for everything.

It’s a lot to handle when everybody is depending on you. At the end of the day, all I got is God and my mom. When it’s all said and done, going through that season taught me what I really had and didn’t have in life. You gotta keep going and never give up. God is amazing! 🙏
