💵: $5,000 living stipend + $1,956.35 education award

What a GRAND finale! 🎉

Last week marked the 9th and final week of our Summer Program, and it was the perfect way to celebrate an incredible summer together.

🎓 Our high school participants visited college campuses, taking tours and imagining all that's possible beyond high school.

🏕️ Our middle school participants headed to camp in Bridgeport for a week filled with fishing, archery, swimming, and so much more. Each cabin is themed by color, and it's always amazing to see their creativity shine! For many, this is their very first sleep-away camp experience!

🦎 Our elementary participants wrapped up the summer with Adventure Week! From animal encounters and science experiments to flamenco dancers, fire truck visits, water days, dance parties, and more, every day was packed with excitement and discovery.

What an unforgettable way to end a summer of learning, growth, friendship, and fun! 💚

We loved the opportunity to recognize the impact our young adults had this summer at our annual Celebration Banquet Methodist Health System 💚

A heartfelt thank you to each of our AmeriCorps Members, Program Quality Coaches & Community Directors for spending your summer in service to others. We are so proud of how you have continued to invest in the lives of the children, yourselves and your community the past 2 months, thank you. 🫶

This is what mentorship looks like. It's listening, encouraging, and creating spaces where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to be themselves. 💚💚💚 We love this, Ashley!
