There are two ways to increase financially stability: Either reduce spending, or increase income. I’ve never been good at cutting costs, so bringing in more cash has always been my go-to. 💰

But when you already work a full-time job, picking up shifts for hourly pay is the last thing you want to do.

This is what lead me to social media management as a side hustle. 🤑

I knew I had skills to offer that brands and businesses would pay good money for. And the best thing about it is, the better I got, the more I could charge for those skills.

Fast forward a few years, and I was able to quit my job to freelance full-time. 🙌

You may think of freelancers graphic designers, photographers, etc., but there are so many jobs that companies can outsourced such as accounting, management, customer service, HR + more! 💻

Due to the flexible nature of freelancing, this is easily done as a side-hustle to contribute to your full-time income. But at this rate, a motivated freelancer could easily replace a salary and gain the independence of the freelance lifestyle in no time. 😉

I’ve been doing some reflecting on my first 6 months as a creative freelancer and have to say… I LOVE MY CLIENTS. 🥲

While it hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows, I do feel as though I’ve figured out the type of client I resonate with and am building my business based on this model. Generating a consistent income as a freelancer is important, but what’s more important is that you RESONATE with your clients mission. 🤑🙌

This past weekend I had the pleasure of helping to launch client studio, which was catered by a friend and past client , while wearing another client . 🥰

Taking the leap of faith to go out on my own in the digital marketing world was a scary, but ultimately rewarding decision. Just 4 months into my solo journey, I’ve already learned so much and am continually growing in my craft, while rapidly expanding my business. It’s a crazy life, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! 💕
