At our happy place!

Royal Lane Baptist Church Sunday Morning Service - 12 April 2026 04/12/2026

Many of you know that I am a member of Royal Lane Baptist Church. I manage the website and sing in the choir. This morning, we sang one of my absolute, favorite anthems, “THE MAJESTY AND GLORY OF YOUR NAME” by Tom Fettke and Linda Lee Johnson. I just listened to the recording, and WOW. We might have been small in number this morning, but we sounded so good! Please take a listen if you’d like. The choir sings at the 31:16 mark. Once YouTube makes the livestream available for download tomorrow, I’ll post a clip of it as well.

By the way family - I want this piece sung at my funeral.

I wrote the first verse of this hymn in 2023 after the Uvalde massacre. I finally completed the last three verses a few months ago, and want to share it with you.

If you are a minister, music minister, or church musician and would like to sing this in your church, I would be honored. Please reach out to me for PDF files.

I have finally written the final verses to a hymn I wrote, A NATION GRIEVES, after the Uvalde massacre. Once we’ve debuted the updated hymn at my own church, I’ll make it available to any churches or religious organizations that would like to use it.

Just found these photos!!!

The world premier of Ron Troutman and Neil Wolfe’s “Birth/Day: The Frankenstein Musical” opened at the Deep Ellum Opera Theatre in October of 1993.

I met so many of my current dear friends during this production (Andi Allen, Karen Moyer, Gaitley Stevenson-Mathews and many, many others). Also … me with hair!!

I’m so excited to announce that a hymn Harry Wooten and I have written will be used in worship this Sunday morning at Royal Lane Baptist Church! HOLY GOD AND HOLY SPIRIT is set to Beethoven’s ODE TO JOY tune (one of my favorites).

If any music ministers or churches are interested in using this new setting, please reach out to me at [email protected] … we offer it free of charge.

Below you’ll find screenshots of the music.
