Welcome Home has an amazing woman (and cancer survivor) we serve who just moved into her own apartment. She attends WH each Sunday, is an incredible woman of faith, and is need of a bed, box spring, frame, pillows, sheets. If you have something like new to donate or you or your CG would like to sponsor an order for her, please email [email protected] Thanks!
Interested in serving the homeless? The Welcome Home volunteer team needs your help! Each Sunday we provide transportation for 12-15 homeless men and women, attend the 9 AM service at Watermark, share a meal together, and share the love of Christ and truth of God's Word with them during our men's and women's discussion time. If you can help 1x-2x/month, that'd be amazing! Email Wade at [email protected] if you'd like more info or want to join us on the frontlines!

One of our most dedicated brothers needs your help! Samuel is seeking funds to help renew his work visa and to be represented in his political asylum case to become a naturalized US citizen. Here’s some of his amazing story...
During the Liberian civil war, Samuel was forced to be a child soldier slave for 15 years- witnessing and experiencing an unfathomable amount of hatred, violence, and abuse. After escaping and being recaptured, Samuel was punished with acid on his eyes, rendering him blind. Samuel later became a social and political activist, particularly for the rights of the disabled, making him an enemy of the state. He fled to America and during the past 2 years with Welcome Home: completed Watermark’s Regeneration program, attends a local college, became a Watermark member, serves on the Frontlines team as a greeter, serves as Regen, serves the homeless at Welcome Home, and lives in his own apartment. Most importantly, he has found forgiveness and healing through a relationship with Jesus Christ and is passionate about sharing the Gospel with everyone he meets.

Here's a quick 2-minute video that captures why we love the homeless at Welcome Home!
Here's one of the many memories made at our "Christmas in July" event, as Samuel experienced the joys of a massive inflatable slide for the first time! Want to know more about Samuel's incredible story? Read on...
Samuel was once a child soldier in Liberia, consumed with anger and hatred. Violence was a way of life for him amidst a country ruled by conflict. He ultimately had his eyesight knocked out of him, which was a time of great despair for Samuel. Through a series of events, Samuel ended up homeless in Dallas and hopped on the Welcome Home van, where he has been family ever since. He has grown in his faith so much these past two years together. He has not let blindness be an excuse to faithfully pursue Christ and assume responsibility in his life, but now lives in his own apartment, completed Watermark Church's 12-step recovery program Re:generation, attends a local college, and shares his hope in Christ with everyone he meets. It has been a joy and privilege to serve committed men and women like Samuel at Welcome Home each week. His faithfulness continues to encourage each of us and I pray his story and faith also encourage you!
