Fourteen years ago I chose to start my own Professional Organizing business. I was working at The Container Store with Patrick Hausske. Patrick shared with me that there was a NAPO- DFW group. I never knew that the National Association of Professional Organizers even exhisted.
I have learned so much as a member of this group. When I was a newby it was such a huge support to meet other Professional Organizers as well as the Business Partners.
It was so wonderful to attend the 20th Anniversary of this DFW chapter of what is now called National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals.
Past Presidents were there as well as the Founding Members. There was lots of catching up, smiles and hugs.
Thank you to April Mahrer Merritt (the current President) and the other board members for all you do and for organizing this heartwarming celebration. Also, thank you to Jackie Marciacq Wakin for texting me and encouraging me to attend.
