One of my favorite Spring sightings: the plum blossom in the middle of Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. To the best of my knowledge, there is only one of these trees in all 200 acres of the park and you have to be looking for it to spot it. Beautiful silver bark and the blooms usually come out around spring break and don’t last very long… this photo was taken on 3/11 and the tree has just begun blooming at the top. I imagine its full splendor will be on display over the next few days. 🌸

I would encourage you to, at least once a week, connect with the pace of nature in this season that can be so restorative. 🏕️
