Congratulations to RunSwift Athlete Stacy Barton who got on the podium with 4th place in her age group with a solid triathlon performance at Ruidosa, New Mexico 70.3. It was a hilly bike and hilly run in warm temps. They were at 7000 ft elevation so breathing was also difficult on the swim. Nothing is to hard for this lady!! Proud of continued hard work to perform her best. Now she has to train for 70.3 World Championships AND a Full Ironman . 😳😵‍💫. She’s got grit!!

Congratulations to Runswift Athlete Rachel Velarde for finishing her 1st Full Ironman yesterday at Ironman Texas in the Woodlands. Coaching athletes is so much fun especially when they are so motivated like Rachel. She made no excuses and worked hard to overcome a few small injuries in order to get to the start line. She followed the training plan each week and committed to the goals. She’s not just an athlete , she’s a great friend who inspires me. 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, and 26.2 mile run with great pacing. Congratulations Rachel!!

Congratulations to Runswift Athlete Stacy Barton for getting on the podium at Ironman Cozumel! She gave it her all on the course and it paid off. 2.4 mile swim in the ocean, 112 miles on a windy bike course, and a 26.2 mile run. She executed the day really well with 18.5 mph on the bike and good wattage. It’s always warm in Cozumel so she did a fantastic job holding on to finish in 5th place out of 28 ladies in her age group. If you know Stacy you know she does every workout plus a little more to make sure she is giving her best. 😊. It has been nothing but joy to see how God has prepared her for that race and the amount of determination and dedication this amazing lady has. Every coach wants to coach athletes like Stacy, no excuses, just grit. Great job Stacy! Love ya and so proud of you! 💕💕
