The studio that is now Modern Electric Sound Recorders has a long and varied history in the Dallas, TX recording scene dating back as far as the early 1960's. The building itself was constructed in 1961 by the PAMS Production Company, an innovator and pioneer in the advertising and jingle world. “Crossing Lines” out today! and I wrote this one back before he signed a big ole record deal with - the song is about coming to terms with ourselves, and knowing it’s ok that we’re not perfect. After writing it we had Tanner’s great band join to track it up at with Dottie of course! Now he & the band are out there tearing up shows around the country bringing these songs to life… proud of you brother.
