Juneteenth has always mattered. But let's be honest - it matters even more right now.

At a time when DEI programs are being rolled back; when law firms and organizations in our space are being targeted by the EEOC, FTC and DOJ; when conversations about equity are being silenced; and when some in our space are questioning whether inclusion is even worth the effort, we think it's important to say clearly: we haven't changed our minds.

At Content Pilot, our commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion isn't something we revisit when it's convenient. It's baked into who we are - in the culture we build, the clients we choose, and the way we show up every day.

We aren't perfect. We own our blind spots. But we believe everyone deserves a seat at the table, and we know the road to get there is harder for some than for others.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth and recommit to doing the work.

Dr. King reminded us that moral courage isn’t just about what we believe, but what we’re willing to speak up for. His legacy challenges us to look honestly at the world around us, and at ourselves, and to ask whether our voices align with justice, dignity, and humanity for all.

Honoring that legacy means continuing to speak our truth as a company, and intentionally aligning how we lead, how we support our employees, and how we hire with the values of equity and inclusion he helped bring to light. In moments shaped by uncertainty and injustice, we choose conscience over comfort, and action rooted in compassion and accountability.
