Just finished up this 13-ply guitar neck blank featuring a striking combination of Kingwood, Bocote, Purpleheart, and Roasted Flamed Maple.
The contrast between the deep purple hues of the Purpleheart, the dramatic grain of the Bocote, the rich dark tones of Kingwood, and the chatoyance of the Roasted Flamed Maple creates a neck that’s as visually impressive as it is structurally stable.
