Dear friends, I am sad and excited to announce that my studio is officially closed. I am pursuing my master’s degree in social work at the University of Texas in Austin. I will be doing tintypes here and there when I can, but will be focused on school until I graduate in 2024. I hope to see you at a pop-up sometime or down the road when I open my studio again! Thank you for all of your support, this has truly been my favorite job in the world (and all because of you). ❤️

There are many things I love about my job. One of them is when I get to see people and families grow and change throughout the years. Thank you for being my biggest fan Tiffany! The feeling is mutual! ❤️

I had the great honor to work with a group of talented tintypists assisting
the very lovely and talented with the creation of the 1883 cast tintypes. I had a blast and learned so much from the crew: , , , and ✨👐✨

Here are some of John Hall's words () since he said it so well❤️

"For the wet-plate community as a whole, all credit to and for making the amazing decision to use ACTUAL ambrotypes and tintypes in this production. This was a HUGE tintype shoot that couldn’t have been realized without the incurrence of great cost and effort on their part. Their evident dedication to this photographic process and respect for historical authenticity is commendable.

Equal props, of course, again to for conceiving this project from the beginning and assembling our team to see it through to fruition. This is truly a banner day for all practitioners of the 170 year old wet-plate collodion photographic process and it wouldn’t have happened without her. I have seen in the last week 1883 tintypes on billboards, tv screens, in Times Square, on the side of a Las Vegas hotel, newspapers, magazines, and all over social media. Not too shabby. Congratulations Sarah!"
