Sinful Indulgence

I started to wrap this present as my "White Elephant" gift for the gift exchange this year at work, when I changed my mind. Now it is sitting under my tree, more as a decoration. I don't often create rustic looking pieces, but today I felt inspired. I guess I was in "the zone". I got in the zone at worked and stayed until 8:30 pm, then I get home and actually got into a creative zone and ran with it. Not often I have the energy to do both in one day. 😊

Just finished a baby shower for a coworker. Feels good to be creative, but can feel I am a bit rusty. Enjoy!

The surprise office celebration for a coworker that just celebrated his wedding this last weekend. The only detail he would give us is that it would be a simple wedding and that the colours were salmon and grey. I also only found out during the work week and had no time to design or plan...

As I had very little time and little information to go off of, I improvised. I wanted to do so much more, but was only able to work one day on creating everything.

It has been years, but I am at a place in my career and life where I have more time to create. Here is a sneak peek.

So after disappearing for a few years, to pursue a new career, I have finally reached a point where I feel like I can return to being creative; even if it is just now a hobby. This weekend I felt inspired to create and design again. This gift wrapping series was inspired by the gift itself, coffee. The person loves coffee and the gifts inside are coffee related.

Looking forward to getting creative this weekend. Finally after a year away from creativity! Here's to hoping I haven't lost my edge! :-) Photos to follow.

Busy concepting a line of (possibly) interactive invitations. That is, if I can get them to function properly, while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship as my other cards. Wow are my creative juices flowing today!!! :-)

Busy organizing my 3 foot tower of designer paper, along with unpacking and organizing all my equipment. I have moved to my new apartment and am super excited to get back into designing cards again! That and a little push from a client or two always help too. ;)

Just wanting to give an update. Due to a current situation, I am unable to get to my equipment to make new cards, however I am hoping to bring new designs soon! :-) Even thinking of incorporating a new material!
