Please help us welcome Luke Friesen as the new Chief Operating Officer at C1 Insurance Group!!

He brings 20 years of experience in corporate performance improvement and operational leadership, including time with Alvarez & Marsal and Watermark Community Church.

Luke grew up in Japan and Kansas, studied business at John Brown University, and earned his MBA from Texas A&M. He and his family have called DFW home since 2007. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and three daughters, exercising, reading, home projects, and pickleball.

A proud graduate of the University of Alabama, she was drawn to Dallas by her passion for growth, connection, and a fast-paced, people-focused environment. With her positive outlook and commitment to efficiency, C1 was a natural fit.

Aliya believes in turning complex challenges into simple, actionable steps that serve individuals and families. Originally from Joplin, Missouri, she values staying connected with loved ones and often takes trips home or hosts friends and family in Texas.

Outside of work, Aliya enjoys knitting, long walks by the lake, discovering local spots, and spending time with the people who matter most.

Meet Landon Gibson, another one of our newest Risk Management Advisors!!

A Dallas native, Landon began his insurance career in 2021 after graduating from The University of Oklahoma. Before that, he was a collegiate athlete at Fort Lewis College, playing for the men’s soccer team.

With a relentless drive for success and a passion for helping others, Landon thrives on being part of a team and encouraging those around him. Outside of work, he enjoys the gym, pickup soccer, time with friends, and hanging out with his dog.
