Types of Computer Memory RAM and VRAM.
HDD, SSD and CD are drives while USB is a port. It should be written USB Drive or Flash Drive. We must know the difference between primary and secondary memory
Then Internal and external storage devices.
"Internal memory" should be renamed primary storage. Primary storage, or volatile memory, is required to start a computer. Remove the RAM from your computer and turn it on to see what happens - you won't hurt your computer, but you also wont get very far.
RAM is volatile, meaning it will not retain information when powered off. "External Memory" is not memory, it's storage, and should be renamed secondary storage.
These technologies are not required to start a computer, although one form or another is often present and permanently stores an operating system to be copied from the secondary storage device to the the primary storage device (RAM) in order for the computer to be a useful device.
Secondary storage devices retain information when powered off. I would consider ROM/BIOS/UEFI as secondary storage as it retains information when the computer is powered off and is used to find the operating system on a secondary storage device to be copied to primary storage (RAM).
Under DRAM, SDROM is incorrect, is should be renamed SDRAM, RDROM is incorrect, this is RAMBUS memory or RDRAM (old, we haven't seen RDRAM since the early 2000's), and DDR SDRAM should be renamed to DDR.
Magnetic Core Memory was used by computers from the 1940s to the 1970s.
