Song of the Evening pt. 30

“Time-Mind” 🕰️

I wrote things song about what it’s like living with ADHD. I don’t think it’s a burden and there are many medications which can help with it. However, it does take some getting used to and you have to offer yourself grace. Neuro-normalcy isn’t much of a thing IMO.

I know this song isn’t the brightest or cheeriest but I like a good sad song every now and then because even in sadness beauty can be found.

Comment something like “🕰️⏰⏱️🕐” to let me know you’ve read this. Thanks!

Song of the Evening Pt. 27
“Supposed to Be”

Is a Latin Jazz inspired song about life’s journeys and the precautions required to make it through heart breaks and setbacks. There’s a measure of struggle that’s required in life for growth, but life is not inherently bad or good.

There’s supposed to be…

Song of the Evening pt. 25 “Nights Away from You”

This is one of those songs I consider grown folks R&B think of artists like or other similar artists. It was an anchoring idea when it came to turning my inspiration into this song.

🎥Footage credit to and to for hosting this monthly event!

Hope to see y’all on April 7th have a great rest of your evening share this post/repost it for I have the info for the gig in this. Send this to someone who loves this type of music.

Song of the Evening Pt. 24 “Pressures”

This is an older tune of mine that is about how when we’re children we don’t have the same worries and societal pressures to be anyone or anything besides who we are.

Hope y’all enjoy the tune and that it makes you feel warm and reflective. Show is in two weeks at Bath House Cultural Center.

Song of the Evening pt. 23 “Easily”

This original song was written in the summer of 2015. I wrote it when I was coming to terms with my lack of self-love and appreciation at the time. Sometimes beautiful pieces come from dark places.

If you can relate comment and let me know.

Only 7 more days for this series! See you on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 at 7:30pm . Have a great evening. ✌🏾
