70's Pioneer Jesus Rock Band. Etunes: Band Profile. Ebios: Emen. Estuff. orders: [email protected] Eband was part the Jesus Movement that swept America in the 70's.

Fans, friends, family & followers can explore what God did to and through some Xhippie, Xdruggie, Xpagan Jesus freaks 50 years ago. We hope to encourage present day believers & musicians to go on with that same Lord. But Jesus is the same yesterday, today & forever. He's still at large!... ambushing and delivering many who thought He was just a mirage or myth instead of Love itself come to earth. He is Emanuel... God with us.

Not sure, but we suspect if E was still kickin' it-- We might just be doing stuff like this....
(Reminds us of our friend, 72yrold Glenn Kaiser; Grrr Records/Rez Band; who's stlill gettin' down lifting Him up.)

Imagine Johnny Lennon standing before God’s throne.
No Beatles and no Yoko. He stands there all alone.
Imagine what he’s feeling as the Truth is finally shown.
You could say I’m a fool for Jesus,
and to mock this anthem is just wrong.
But what if John could return & teach us?
I bet he’d sing a different song.

Our bro Dave got to Heaven first. But we'll be following close behind him... soon.
And won't that be a Jesus jam for the ages!

David George O'Haver Obituary 2024 - Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory 08/04/2024

A glorious announcement:
God’s grace & wisdom to all our E friends & followers. Hope Jesus is your strength & song in these chaotic times. His revolution is still exploding all over the world! Young Jesus Freaks still see visions! Old Curmudgeons for Christ still dream dreams!

We’re sad but glad to announce the homegoing of our dear friend & brother Dave O'Haver. He went home to be with Jesus this week. He came in from working with a pain in his leg, laid down, went to sleep & didn't wake up. Pray for Karen and the family.
The funeral will be Mon, Aug5 In Indianapolis.

Dave was the oldest of us (by 3 yrs). And he was such a light & anchor. Such a true friend. Full of talent, ideas, encouragement & zeal for Jesus. He played the HammondB3 in the band… most excellently! It was 4 years of miracles, prayers, adventures, battles, victories, tears & laughter as Jesus was moving in our lives & hundreds all around us.

We remember long jams in our Ehouse living room. Creating new songs, each one bringing their ideas to the mix. Waging war on our backyard basketball court. Eating lots of vegetables & home-made bread. Road trips & recording sessions. Lugging that organ up fights of stairs (with joy!), Bible studies, prayer nights & fasting days. We were doing some kind of ministry every night of the week! Either going to a service, ministering to someone or playing our gigs. And Dave was right there encouraging us and giving his all. Before E he'd been in a Vegas band (Ron Volz & the Rockin Rs), and then rededicated his life to God and he was thrilled to be in a Jesus band. So he brought all kinds of professionalism & excellence to our music.

Over the decades Jesus continues to move in our lives. Dave's played in many church praise teams. He's had his own construction work, always creating or building something. Found the love of his life in Karen. And they both found new giftings together as they sang or ministered in various churches or opportunities. They loved just worshipping together in the mornings. And we're pretty sure, though apart for a season... They will again soon.
Isn't this why Jesus ambushed us crazy lost rebels long ago. To put Eternity in our hearts & fit our hearts for Eternity? Can’t wait to hang with our brother Dave there. And we’ll jam before our King together forever.
