The Art Parade
On Wilshire Boulevard at LACMA

In celebration of the opening of the David Geffen Galleries, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), in collaboration with Jeffrey Deitch, presents The Art Parade 2026.

The Art Parade is a large-scale public procession on Museum Mile presented as part of the free, all-day LACMA Block Party on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Artists, musicians, performers, art students, and the city’s entire dynamic creative community are invited to create mobile, processional works designed for presentation in an outdoor setting. Think structural costumes, carryable sculptures, banners, inflatables, dance performances, roving musical acts, and beyond. Human-powered works only— no motorized floats or vehicles.

The application for submissions is now open and will close on April 5.
