Our 2025 TREC Dallas Guns project team met with students at the Dallas ISD Paul L. Dunbar Learning Center on Friday to talk about their forthcoming STEAM lab!

The project, a renovation of an existing lab space, is the first of two Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City collaborations our Young Guns are taking on with the school.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the STEAM lab is tentatively being planned for August.

Last week, members of the ALC Class of 2026 held a volunteer event at the Braswell Child Development Center in Mill City, handing out popsicles to children and candles to teachers and administrators.

The center offers educational programs for infants, toddlers, and students of all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

ALC class members are partnering with Braswell on their community investment project benefiting Dallas Catalyst Project: Mill City. More details coming soon.

On Friday, April 24, our 30th anniversary ALC Class of 2026 met for its second program day on leadership development!

This program focuses on what it takes to gain confidence as a young business leader, leading through organizational change, and navigating the path of entrepreneurship.

Speakers included Doug Jones (Stream Realty Partners), Hunter LeeHPI Real Estate Services & Investments), Will Hendrickson (Granite Properties), Sarah Kennington (Thirty-Four Commercial), and Evan Beattie (GFF Design), among others.

Class members also participated in the StrengthsFinder survey to better understand their individual leadership attributes and opportunities for growth.
