Blooming Hub Caps

My latest hub cap named Cheers I made for my sister Cathy. The multi spiked hub radiates like the sun with a decorative center made from Shiner beer bottle caps.

HAMMERHEAD the latest addition to the garden is protecting my hub cap collection and our grapevines! So happy to have another Janice Somerville creation. Love her art and the way she repurposes her collection of found objects. AMAZING!😍

Today is World Art Day! Art can awaken the senses and allows us to experience the world in new ways.
In celebration I am posting my latest creation, “Flowers Are My Love Language”. It’s a mixed media piece that was inspired by a floral bouquet I received that prompted me to get out my paints! And of course once I got started there were more and more flowers that had to join the bunch. For my Granddaughter Chloe’s 2nd birthday I made this painting for her Party Animal themed party! It was such a joy to share with her as she recognized her stuffies and the menagerie of animals.
