Freeman Dental

Applying and getting into dental school is a highly competitive process, but he worked during the day for the U. S. Department of Fish & Wildlife as a biologist who studied the effects of dredging on marine life in the San Francisco Bay, and at night, took courses to strengthen his science background for the dental school entrance exam.

He was accepted into Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, attended from 1970 to 1974 and graduated with the doctor of dental science degree from the School of Dentistry in 1974.

After an internship in dental surgery at Martin Luther King Hospital in Los Angeles, California, Dr. Freeman moved to Dallas in 1975 where he initially joined Dr. Foster Kidd and later established his own independent practice.

Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Not everybody can be famous, but everybody can be great, because greatness is determined by service.” Now how does a little boy from Cameron, Texas achieve success? He had no money, sometimes little food, and faced discrimination and bigotry almost every day. The answer is he worked hard, treated people fairly, kept true to his mother’s teachings and faith, kept a servant’s heart by helping others whenever he could, and almost as important, he kept a sense of humor. His ability to make others laugh and laugh at himself is a valuable tool in the arsenal for success.

Now most people are scared to go to the dentist, put it off until they can't take the pain anymore, or flat out just don't go. One thing I can say emphatically about this Dentist, you may go in with pain, but you will come out with side splitting laughter. Dr. Freeman is one of the funniest people you will ever meet.
