What an incredible week I had in Denmark last week, geeking out about my love for the LEGO Group and all things ! 🇩🇰✨

I had the chance to travel to Billund to not only connect with amazing LEGO AFOLs and LEGO Masters builders from around the world at the legendary , but I even got to meet Niels B. Christiansen, CEO of The LEGO Group. To say this was a dream trip would be an understatement!

A huge thank you to the Skærbæk Fan Weekend team at and the team for coordinating AFOL Day 2025! And to my fellow international contestants from Sweden to Australia, thank you for welcoming me into the global LEGO Masters family! I’m so grateful to be part of this inspiring community! I can’t wait to see what we all create next and I’m already looking forward to seeing you all next year! 🧱🌍💛

When you aren’t invited to participate on the Season 5 panel at , at least you’re in great company with Corey & Rebecca 🤣❤️👍🏻 Well, not entirely true, I’m a Co-Chair this year so was SUPER BUSY! But loved dropping in for a few minutes to see chat!

Started my 43rd birthday the only way that makes sense… a trip to The Store to grab my free birthday minifig! 🎉🧱❤️

It’s absolutely a tradition at this point! Because what better way to kick off another trip around the sun than with some bricks and a big smile? 😄

Had a great Saturday afternoon at celebrating ’s Summer Party! There were games, prizes, MOCs, and team-built MOCs we got to destroy (sorry Tweety Bird Air Balloon! 🐥🎈🤣

Throwback to last year’s Brick Erie, where I got to hang out with two of my absolute favorite humans, and fellow Season 5 builders, Marcella & Krista! ( and ) 🧱❤️

From big laughs to even bigger builds, these two bring so much joy, talent, and heart to everything they do. I can’t wait to see them both again at Brick Erie 2025 later this year! And hopefully Groot, too!

I’m extremely proud to share that my LEGO Masters teammate and I had the opportunity to speak with GLAAD and about our experience as LGBTQ+ builders on Season 5 on and .

Both Justin and I couldn’t be more excited that our season is being aired during PRIDE Month 🏳️‍🌈. In the middle of all the brick-building madness of this season, it’s so awesome to take a pause and be grateful for not only having the chance to compete on the show but also the opportunity to bring our full selves to this competition and be a visible part of a show that celebrates creativity, joy, and the LGBTQ+ community.

Before tonight’s “Wicked” challenge airs, let us take a moment to remember… Zog. 💚🐙📸 Cue the “X-Files” music!

In last week’s Episode 3’s “Over the Falls” challenge, Justin built a vibrant jungle scene starring Zog, an alien octopus who crash-landed on Earth in search of the ultimate selfie. He explored lush trees, met curious river creatures, and bravely posed at the edge of a mighty waterfall. But one step too far… and Zog took the plunge over the waterfall, but not before transmitting back to their planet the perfect Earth selfie!

Tragically, he exploded into thousands of bricks at the bottom. 💥🧱 Rest In LEGO Pieces, Zog. You died as you lived. Dramatically!

What’s sweet, stacked, and sealed with a love story? 💙💍❄️ Our Super Teams build from Episode 02 of Season 5!

I’m thrilled to share a closer look at our five-tier wedding cake build and the story behind it.

In this challenge, Justin () and I teamed up with the incredible duo Niki () and Brittain () to create a towering tribute to the unexpected romance between the Ferry Captain and the Ice Queen.

The cake tells their story:
🧁 Five tiers of white brick-built buttercream
💎 Elegant icy-blue piping inspired by the waters around her frozen island palace
🚢 A mariner’s tale of being shipwrecked… and slowly thawing the Ice Queen’s heart

So proud of this whimsical build, this all-star team, and this unforgettable moment of collaboration and celebration. 💙 On to Episode 03 tomorrow night!

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our first two LEGO Masters Season 5 watch parties! 💛❤️

We kicked things off with Episode 1: Rebuild the Galaxy, where Justin () and I built Planet J2-DA, a colorful dual-city tribute to our hometowns of Dallas & Austin — complete with an intergalactic creature park. Then, in Episode 2: Wedding Cakes, we were paired up with Niki () and Brittain () and “baked” a towering tribute to the Ferry Captain and the Ice Queen minifigs who found love in a frosted place 🎂

Thanks to all my friends, fellow builders from and , and family who came out, THANK YOU! The support, the cheers, the hugs, the selfies … it all means so much. 🧱❤️

Big love to for hooking us up with the awesome Band Room where we’ve watched each episode on the big screen (yes, we figured out the projector AND the stage lights 🎉). Shoutout to the amazing staff — especially our rockstar server Luigi — for taking such great care of us every week!

One of the most unforgettable parts of Season 5? Becoming fast friends off-set.

We may have started as two teams — John & Justin and Nick & Kyndall — but somewhere between the late-night walks, dinners out, and nonstop laughs, we became one little LEGO family!

We miss each other like crazy and can’t wait to reunite this July at 2025 in Houston! Until then, here’s a look at a few of our favorite off-set memories.
