February is National Pet Dental Health Month, and we're here to remind you that their pearly whites need care too! Dental disease can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, which is why it’s important to schedule a COHAT (Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment) before things get worse. If your pet is showing signs like bad breath, yellow buildup, or red gums, it’s time to book a cleaning ASAP!
🦷Because dental health is a key component to preventative veterinary care, our vets check your pet's teeth during every wellness exam. If you aren't sure if your pet needs a cleaning, call or text us and we’ll review their records to give you a recommendation.
🐾 For current (or soon-to-be!) ReadiVet clients, book your pet’s dental cleaning in February and get 15% off! There are only a few spaces left, so book today!

Your dog may think chocolate is a snack... but the theobromine inside it says otherwise. Even a small bite, especially of baking or dark chocolate, can cause serious symptoms.
From toxic theobromine to sugar-induced pancreatitis, holiday treats can cause real trouble for pets.

The holidays are made merrier with a little festive greenery around the house but remember, curious pets love to investigate anything new.
Some festive plants can cause more harm than holiday cheer, especially for pets who like to sniff (or nibble) first and ask questions later.
Here are the festive favorites to keep out of paw’s reach.

If you found two puppies in a box, what would you do?
During Nashville's first cold day, eight-week old brothers Oreo and Tyson were left inside a box on a client’s front lawn. The very next day our team stepped in to give them wellness exams and we’re thrilled to share they were both healthy.
Even better? They’ve found a loving home together!
During this season of gratitude, we're grateful to play a small part in their new beginnings.

This Thanksgiving dogs are getting ready to use those irresistible puppy eyes on the weakest link in the family. You know. . .the one who can’t resist sharing a bite from the feast.
However, even a little “treat” can turn into a big tummy ache. Many Thanksgiving favorites are actually harmful (and sometimes toxic) to pets.
SAVE + SHARE this list of pet-safe foods and remember, even the safe ones should only be enjoyed in moderation.
