That's a wrap! For 10 years, Angels Fall Up has worked jointly with the talented team of the The Colony Roadrunners Club -TCRC N Texas to raise money for cancer research and honor the legacy of Ron Rossetti. The wonderful result of this partnership and the hard work of TCRRC has not only been a successful half marathon (The Colony Shoreline Trail 15K and Green Dragon 5K), but an ongoing endowment formerly presented to UT Southwest Cancer Center (Simmons). While a few VIPs were missing from Sunday's dinner, an enthusiastic group showed up to break bread and tell stories.

Dear TC Shoreline Runners,

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your participation in the inaugural The Colony Shoreline Run. Your enthusiasm and dedication made the event a tremendous success. The perfect weather that graced us on race day was only matched by the warmth of your spirits and the energy you brought to the event.

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your support, we were able to raise a significant amount of donations for Angels Fall Up, an organization committed to researching and finding a cure for cancer through UT Southwestern. Your contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are fighting cancer. Your commitment to both the run and our charity cause is truly commendable, and we couldn't have achieved this without your presence. We also want to thank The Colony High School cheerleaders, Topcats, The Colony Police Department, The Colony Fire Department, The Colony Parks & Recreation Department and the countless volunteers that provided support to our race.

This event is and always has been a 100-percent volunteer-led race. Not one single person who organizes our race is paid for their efforts. We all have families, full-time jobs and other responsibilities, and we are all passionate about providing a superb grass-root, local event for the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

Thank you again for your support, and happy training for your next race!

Best wishes,

The Colony Shoreline Run Race Team
Stephen Hidalgo, Race Director
Michael Hundt, Assistant Race Director
Karen Wise, Volunteer Director
Greg Tonian, The Colony Roadrunners Club President

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to The Colony Shoreline Trail 15K and Green Dragon 5K Race Director, “Stephen Hidalgo”, our “amazing” Race Committee, the TCRC (Colony Roadrunners Club), the TC shoreline runners, The Colony Police Department, The Colony Fire Department, The Colony Parks & Recreation Department, The Colony High School Topcats and Cheer leaders and the many friends/volunteers who supported this race. Your hard-work, dedication, commitment and love make race day such a pleasurable experience for the runners and families participating. Many of you have been with us since the first race (11 years ago) and we want you to know that we are so very thankful and appreciative of everything you’ve done. There is simply not enough words to truly express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude.

It takes an incredible army to fight cancer and what an AMAZING army we were blessed with!! This event is and always has been a 100% volunteer led race. Not one single person who organizes our race is paid for their efforts. The proceeds of this race support pancreatic cancer research and development. Race day is about spreading the message of HOPE to the many cancer survivors and patients fighting for a better tomorrow. We had a beautiful race day because of you~ it was a wonderful success!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Sending gods blessings to all of you💕
