The Center for Church Development envisions every church planting with the mission of making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.

Healthy congregations do not happen by accident. They require the same kind of diligent care and nurture as people do if they are to maintain vitality. The ministries of the NTC are geared toward enabling the local church's health and vitiality. The denomination also offers abundant resources, including a tool to evaluate a congregation's vitality and guidance as to how to use and grow from the results.
