Hi, I’m Kait. I’ve been building Shopify stores for over 11 years and I still think it’s the most powerful platform a product brand can be on when it’s done right.

When Melanie first came to us she needed a brand. Now she’s partnering with larger than life brands for New York Bridal Fashion Week.

Western wear has always had soul. Triple Seven is proof it can have sophistication too.
We had the privilege of building out the Shopify presence for this elevated classic women’s westernwear brand - and honestly, this one was so fun. When a brand has a strong identity, you can feel it in every decision. The typography, the imagery, the way a collection page is structured. Everything has to feel intentional.
Triple Seven isn’t your average western brand. It’s for the woman who appreciates the tradition but wants it polished. Refined. Worthy of the quality she’s actually wearing.
That energy has to translate the second someone lands on your site - because your website is your storefront, your fitting room, and your first impression all at once.

Heritage brands have earned their sophistication. Your fonts should show it.
For the brands that have been around for generations - the ones with history and legacy behind them - I always lean into classic serifs. Think timeless, not trendy. Refined, not rigid.
Fonts like these carry weight. They communicate trust before a customer reads a single word. They say we’ve been here, we know what we’re doing, and we’re not going anywhere.
Pair a strong serif headline font with clean, readable body copy and you’ve got a brand that feels elevated without trying too hard.
The worst thing a heritage brand can do is chase a trend that makes them look like everyone else. You’ve been around too long for that.
Lean into the legacy. It’s your biggest differentiator.

Throwing it back to the archives a bit!
Dr. Tamaru and were doing everything themselves to launch their new product.
Running a practice, building a brand, and trying to manage a website. That’s a lot of pressure on two people who are already giving everything to their patients, their businesses, and their families.
When nuwme came to us, we got to work building them a Shopify site that could finally carry some of that weight. Clean, elevated, and set up to actually convert - so they could focus on what they do best instead of worrying about what’s happening on the backend.
That’s what a great website should do. It should work for you when you can’t.
This is one of my favorite parts of this job - watching business owners exhale a little because something is finally handled.

Sometimes a brand direction just doesn’t end up being the one - but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the beauty in the process.
This mockup for a med spa client was too stunning not to share. The soft tones, the elegant typography, the way it all came together... chef’s kiss.
But here’s the thing about branding: it’s not just about looking pretty. It has to feel right for the business, the clientele, and the vision. And sometimes that means letting go of something beautiful to make room for something that fits even better.
So consider this your reminder: the “wrong” direction isn’t wasted work. It’s part of the journey to getting it exactly right.
