Lu Tattoos

ANNOUNCEMENT: I just quit my job at Monster Tattoo this week and today will be my last day. I'm sorry for anyone that's been trying to get a hold of me for future work.

She brought in a tribal butterfly design that she found on google at the top of this picture . I didn't like it, so I drew her up a custom design. I did this tattoo & her custom design for $90, I was bored and wanted to tattoo something cool & original last night.

If you're looking for custom work, let me know. I'm willing to work with you on the pricing & cut you a deal on custom pieces. I'm just tired of cliched tattoos and want some cool stuff for my portfolio.

I'm in it for the art, not the money. If i was in it for the money, I would of slapped on that cliched tattoo that a million other people have... instead of putting the extra effort to do something custom & totally Linda Lu.

Autobot tattoo I did to coverup a symbol he had. Were gonna go back and cover up the circle with possibly some smoke and clouds and lightning or whatever we decide with. I'll probably draw it up tommorrow. :)

Straight razor I did yesterday on my friend, Vinnie. Charged him $50 with the shading included. Which is our shop minimum. I'm reasonable with my pricing. If you have anything you want to get done. Talk to me.

Our new artist Les, is a wierdly inspiring guy. I've been questioning my apprenticeship at the shop and what I've been doing. He pushed me to draw today when I haven't at all in awhile. I feel like im in the right place and this shop is where I need to be in life. I drew this today as a small/medium sized custom tattoo idea. No one else has this tattoo. If anyone wants this done, it'd be $130.

ANNOUNCEMENT: I'm sorry if I've been having trouble replying to people. I'm having trouble with my current living situation right now and am going on hiatus and taking a couple of weeks off to take care of the situation. I know there's no excuse for my lack of being on top of things and I apologize.

One of my last pro bono tattoos that I'm going to do. I went ahead and did this one at no charge because I already agreed to it and my boss didn't like how I did the feather in the dreamcatcher tattoo I did. He's been drilling me on drawing feathers like no other.

This was my first neck tattoo I've done, and let me tell you... neck tattoos are hella hard to do. Its really wierd skin to tattoo on. It took 4 hours and she was crying by the end of it. Helluh sensitive area.

ANNOUCEMENT: My boss told me today that I need to stop advertising free tattoos and start finding paid tattoos only. I feel like I'm not ready and I'm still to slow. He's pushing me out of the baby bird's nest too early. I feel panicky & feel like I'm gonna fail & don't know where to start. But I'm allowed to still be flexible & reasonable with my pricing because I'm still an apprentice.

I'm about to reorder my business cards. I spent my day off today photoshopping business cards. I want my Tattoo Linda Lu followers and my friends to vote and help me choose.
I have 2 choices that I photoshopped.
I uploaded both on my wall.

My 28th tattoo.. A dreamcatcher. The sun & wolf isn't mine. We helluh had fun at the shop today. I didn't charge him for his first one though. Pro bono dream catcher is pro bono. He eventually wants to sleeve out. Which is good news for me. ;)

Which is odd because I don't think this isn't one of my best tattoo so far. I could of done better on it. My boss pointed some things out on it.
