At first glance, you might think it's a watercolor... but it's actually gyotaku.

Gyotaku is the traditional Japanese art of fish printing, where an actual fish is carefully inked and pressed onto paper to capture every incredible detail. This original mahi-mahi print is a beautiful example of the centuries-old technique.

To complement the artwork, we paired it with a classic bamboo-style gold frame and a soft linen mat—creating a timeless presentation that lets the art tell its story.

This personalized Doug West print already had a great story. Our goal was simply to frame it in a way that honored it.

A rich walnut frame, layered mats inspired by the colors of the landscape, and museum-quality materials turned it into a piece the owner can enjoy for years to come.

Scale changes everything.

Large artwork demands precision—from stretching the canvas to selecting a frame that enhances without competing.

For this original piece, we custom stretched the canvas and paired it with a clean walnut floater frame that brings warmth while keeping the focus exactly where it belongs: the art.
