Watermark Community Church
Abiding in Jesus, we are making disciples together. Join us on Sundays at 9 AM, 11:15 AM, and 4 PM.
A new season is here, but the story remains the same: God is building his church. ☀️
As we continue our journey through the Book of Acts this summer, watching the gospel spread and the early church grow, we're reminded that the same Holy Spirit at work then is still at work in us today.
Join us at 9 AM, 11:15 AM, or 4 PM as we worship and study God's Word together!
Ask yourself: Are you believing the lie that if you do good, God owes you a good outcome? 👀
Acts 12 reminds us that followers of Jesus often find themselves in situations they can't control and can't fix. But the good news is this: our peace was never meant to come from our circumstances. Spiritual maturity is learning that peace isn't based on what God does for us, but on who he is. 🙌 Jesus loves us, gave himself for us, and remains sovereign over every detail of our lives, even when things seem hopeless or helpless.

This Sunday was full of opportunities to celebrate God's work both near and far.
We commissioned the F Family as they prepare to take the gospel to the Middle East (read their story at watermark.org/news). We also celebrated milestones from our partnership with Seed Company as Scripture translation advances around the world. So far, that partnership has helped complete 20 projects, including 12 additional Scripture translations, three first Scripture translations, and five New Testaments.
Closer to home, we rejoiced with those who publicly declared their faith through baptism. After the 4 PM service, many from our church family stayed or returned to campus to pray together, lifting up needs and encouraging one another through prayer.
We're grateful for all God is doing in and through our church family and look forward to gathering again this Sunday!

Don't let your peace be held hostage by your circumstance. Spiritual maturity is learning that peace isn't contingent on what God does but on who he is. 🙌

Praying together reminds us that our peace is found not in what God does, but in who he is. Whether you're celebrating, grieving, waiting, or struggling, God invites you to bring it all to him.
We're grateful for everyone who gathered with us last night at 5:30 PM to pray together as a church family. If life feels helpless or hopeless right now, our hope is that you left feeling seen by the Lord in your struggle and strengthened by the prayers of your church family.
Don't wait until the next prayer gathering to pray together—invite your friends to gather and pray, or spend an extended time of prayer with your Community Group this week. Remember: we are a praying church, not just a church that prays.

Over Memorial Day weekend, we took time to honor and pray for those who have served and are currently serving our country. We’re grateful for their sacrifice and for the freedom we have to gather, worship, and open God’s Word together.
As summer approaches and rhythms begin to shift, the Sunday message challenged us to stay deeply connected to Jesus in every season. Dave Bruskas walked us through the story of the church in Antioch described in Acts 11:19-30, where followers of Jesus were first called “Christians” because their lives were so clearly shaped by him.

Recent graduates, as you step into your next season of life, we hope you remember these encouragements from John 15 👉 And wherever the Lord leads you next, remember that your church family will always be here to pray with you, encourage you, and walk with you. Happy graduation season. 🎓
This past Sunday, we had the chance to celebrate and pray over our graduating seniors, college graduates, and Institute class as they enter their next season of life. TA encouraged them to abide in Jesus and walk closely with him all the days of their lives.
Tag or send this to a recent graduate to let them know you're cheering them on! 🥳

Yesterday was another meaningful Sunday together at Watermark. 🙌 We had the chance to celebrate and pray over our graduating seniors, college graduates, and Institute class as they enter their next season of life. TA encouraged them from John 15 to abide in Jesus and walk closely with him wherever life takes them next.
As we continued through Acts 10–11, we saw God expand the early church’s understanding of the gospel and remind them that his invitation is for all people. Through the story’s four movements, God reshapes their understanding of who belongs in his family and challenges the church to care about what matters most to Jesus.

Sunday moments. Be a part of the next one, and join us today at 9 AM, 11:15 AM, and 4 PM.
"Your view of God determines your response to him." 😮💨 In this week’s message, TA taught through Acts 9:32-43 and showed how the healing of Aeneas and the raising of Tabitha point to one central truth: Jesus is healer. These miracles reveal Jesus’s power not only over physical brokenness, but also over our broken relationship with God through his death and resurrection.

Mother’s Day can be joyful for some and deeply painful for others. For couples walking through infertility or miscarriage, this weekend may have brought up feelings of grief, heartache, or reminders of what you're still longing for.
You don’t have to carry that alone. Our Couples Infertility and Miscarriage Support Group on June 10 is a place to be known, supported, and encouraged by others who understand the weight of this journey.
If this season has felt isolating, we’d love to walk with you. Learn more about our Shiloh ministry and register at https://www.watermark.org/events/6582-couples-infertility-and-miscarriage-support-group

This Sunday at Watermark, we celebrated baptisms, worshiped through both sunshine and rain (yes, we’re looking at you 11:15ers 🌧️), and were reminded of a powerful truth from Acts 9: Jesus is healer. In the message, we saw that Jesus has the power to heal what’s broken physically, spiritually, and relationally. We also heard a powerful testimony from Mandy Sisco about God’s faithfulness in her life, which you can read at watermark.org/news 🙌

Grateful for a sunny weekend and time to gather. We spent time in acoustic worship and heard from Tyler Moffett, The Porch Director of Discipleship, who walked us through four movements of grace seen in Saul’s story: God’s intervention, Ananias’s obedience, Saul’s redirected purpose, and Barnabas’s encouragement. It was a good reminder that God works in ways we don’t expect, through people we might overlook, for his greater purposes that will always be accomplished. 🙌

What a week. Our campus was full of joy as we hosted more than 4,000 church leaders from around the world for Church Leaders Conference. CLC is one of the greatest displays of our Unifying church marker, and it was amazing to see so many in our church family give their time and talents to serve the global Church. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Swipe to see how CLC went 👉 and plan to join us today at 9 AM, 11:15 AM, and 4 PM as we gather again for worship together! See you soon.
Prayer begins with receiving, not performing. Before anything else, we need to hear and believe what’s true: that we are loved by God. This becomes the foundation for everything else.
This past Sunday, Tyler Staton, author and lead pastor of Bridgetown Church in Portland, OR, gave a special message on how to live a life devoted to prayer, walking us through Colossians 4:2–6.

The goal of prayer isn’t only what happens when we say “amen,” but who we become after. 👏 This Sunday, Tyler Staton, author and lead pastor of Bridgetown Church in Portland, OR, gave a special message on how to live a life devoted to prayer, walking us through Colossians 4:2–6.
One key takeaway was this: Prayer begins with receiving, not performing. Before anything else, we need to hear and believe what’s true: that we are loved by God. This becomes the foundation for everything else.
