Are you attending this historic event at the Meyerson? It's an epic undertaking and a true thrill! After the cycle is complete, our first evening program of the season will be on October 23rd with Daniel Hawkins, DSO Principal Horn, who plays a prominent role (almost literally, since he plays the Siegfried motif) in this Ring Cycle. https://www.dso-guild.org/programs/

Why not kick off the New Year with the Guild? Join us at the swanky new digs of the Dallas Petroleum Club on Wednesday, January 3rd, for an evening with conductor Marie Jacquot. She will lead the DSO in its first concerts of 2024, conducting repertoire by Schmidt, Elgar, and Beethoven.
Equally at home on the symphonic stage or at the opera house, Marie Jacquot has played her way into the forefront of exciting young conductors through numerous outstanding debuts with top-class orchestras. Her consistent musical work and her interest in exploring a wide-ranging repertoire have led her to prestigious positions with orchestras.
From the 2023/24 season, Marie Jacquot is Principal Guest Conductor of the Wiener Symphoniker, with whom she has already appeared at the Bregenz Festival, the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Vienna Musikverein. In summer 2024, she will additionally take over the position as Principal Conductor of the Royal Danish Theatre Copenhagen.
This event includes a seated dinner. Please note that the Petroleum Club has a dress code requiring business casual (or dressier) attire. Jeans are not allowed.
Reservations are required by December 29th and we are unable to accommodate walk-ups. Purchase your ticket now at https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/dsoguild/6736

Orchestra members play throughout the Dallas community, bringing music to organizations and facilities of all kinds where the folks served may not otherwise have the chance to hear this music or interact with the musicians. Delicious lunch at the Meyerson with fellow music lovers. Join us for a future program! https://www.dso-guild.org/membership/
