Oh Hey Dallas
We eat. We eat so much in fact, we will tell you where you should eat.
Apparently had a location near Deep Ellum for over two years but y’all didn’t tell me so now we’re in a fight because DAMN, this spot is good.
Impeccable service, delicious dishes and an insane view of Downtown Dallas- next time you are looking for a fun night out, I recommend checking out The Saint! 🥩
📍 1000 N. Riverfront
I crave Hawker’s more often than is humanly possible and their happy hour situation doesn’t help.
Half Off Baos & Beers between 3-6pm, Mondays through Thursday. The cocktails are also discounted and other bites (READ: Korean Twice Fried Chicken, my personal fave) start at $5.
📍2800 Main Street in
Little Ruby’s quietly opened in Uptown a few weeks ago and since it has rumblings of a cult-like following, I had to check it out ASAP.
All in all, I enjoyed it - it’s more casual than I anticipated and the restaurant itself is small which I actually like so you aren’t having a 2-3 hour meal. Sometimes you just want to eat and move on, ya know?
HITS:
🩷 The cocktail program
🩷 House made focaccia
🩷 Honey Shrimp Toast
🩷 The Fresh Pastas
🩷 The Brontë Burger*
MISSES:
💔 Whipped Avocado Dip - lacked major flavor
💔 Crispy Rice Salad - truly just a greens salad with some stale tasting rice bits and a sunny-side up egg that was extremely overcooked
💔 The Brontë Burger* - for $18, I want fries with it or something!
Would I go back? A million times yes. Will my ass be parked on that patio for brunch? Also, yes. Is there room for improvement? Yes but only because the dishes are either INCREDIBLE or need work.

has been in Deep Ellum for over 4 years and I am absolutely mortified that I haven’t been before now because I’ve been missing out on some seriously banging food.
From Panang Poutine with their famous house curry sauce, Korean Twice Fried Wings to some of the most flavorful ramen I’ve had to date - wowwwieeee Hawkers absolutely blew me away!
There is a great beers and bao happy hour that I’ll be back for soon and I can’t wait to try more dishes. Have you been? If so, let me know your fave dishes!
I’m sorry, was it not just summer?? 😳 Holy cow - the holidays have snuck up on me this year and frankly, I don’t have time to run all over town so I let Kate Weiser save the day!
From stocking stuffers to gifts for my colleagues and friends, this was the perfect one stop shop to do my Christmas shopping.
Over the last several years, Carl, the hot chocolate snowman has become a tradition in my house and this year they have minis AND Carla who is pink and peppermint flavored so I stocked all the way up on those cuties and other seasonal products.
If you’re a slacker like me and need to stock up on one place or if you’re just looking for the ultimate crowd pleaser — chocolate, Kate Weiser has your back!
There are 3 area locations, too!
📍Trinity Groves in Dallas
📍Northpark in Dalls
📍Clearfork in Fort Worth
💻 or let them take care of delivery with their online shop!
I am utterly obsessed with Uptown’s newest Asian restaurant, Feng Shui. They serve Chinese, Japanese AND Thai dishes and it’s 10/10. No notes.
