Spring in Montana looks a bit… snowy. But this bison doesn’t mind!

Good Morning !!😊
Although spring arrived yesterday it wasn't long ago that Yellowstone was in winters strong grip. It was seventeen below zero when I took this photograph of a frost covered bison in one of Yellowstone's geyser basins.

“Your time has come, now hasten little snowflakes. To vanish quite away; The spring-tide hours are sounding gentle warnings, forbidding you to stay.”

This little guy showing off his sunny spots in Wisconsin!

This beauty is a white-throated sparrow that I photographed near Hudson, Wisconsin. Thanks to their bright white throat and frequent visits to bird feeders, this species is easy for most birders in the eastern United States to ID. However, their most striking feature is their lores - the bright yellow region between the eyes and bill. These sparrows produce the color yellow thanks to a diet rich in carotenoids (pigments manufactured by plants) to provide them with their golden hue.
