PAO Productions
Supporting the Dallas arts and music scene since 2007 Visit the website at www.paoprod.com.
PAO Productions is dedicated to promoting and encouraging the growth of the Dallas-area arts, music, and entertainment scene and those involved in it. Although this includes any and all facets of the Dallas arts scene, the primary focus is on those who work to pursue their art independently of the big sponsors and promotional machines.

A new series covering former DFW area venues and record labels:
Ghosts of DFW music history blog series - PAO Productions Blog The 1980s and '90s were arguably the heyday of local, home grown music in North Texas. On the west side of the DFW metroplex, the 1980s bore witness to the birth of the local metal scene in Arlington and Fort Worth, and, on the east side, the solidification of the rock/punk/pop scenes in Dallas, all...

New interview posted on the website.
PAO Productions - Ellen Once Again Interview (Follow Up) EH: Oh my goodness. Um . . . a lot (laughs). I have a new EP, Another Chance to Live, and I've had some placements for my last EP, I'm Feeling Lucky, on a couple of television shows and online ads and . . . different things like that (laughs). So I actually do feel a little lucky (laughs).

For the past 7 years I've worked toward trying, as much as I personally could with the resources available to me, to document and help promote local music. As of late, however, it has become very difficult to promote any of my work through outlets like Facebook, as I am not able to tag photos, post anything on timelines without it being deleted, or count on many people to share links that I may post to material on the website. Rather than continue to fight a losing battle for exposure of my work, to be taken seriously by people in the scene, and to increase traffic to the website, I have decided to focus my efforts on other things that pay better dividends in the areas of personal satisfaction and personal relationships. PAO Productions is therefore now closed for business until further notice. Moving forward, I suggest you check out METAL MINA PICS and Amy Tate Photography. They are still actively documenting the local music scene. Thank you to those who gave me their support.

Check out the new interview with silver loves mercury, now on the PAO Productions website.
PAO Productions - Silver Loves Mercury Interview Kitty: Uh, it sounds cool. That's about it. There's actually a story behind it, but, um, it's kinda super cheesy. It's funny how we talk about what shouldn't be printed, and . . . this is definitely one of 'em.

A new silver loves mercury gallery has been posted on the PAO Productions website - far better quality than the garbage versions uploaded here to Facebook.
