Last month I took a much-needed weekend getaway to the Bahamas and it was EXACTLY what I needed.

Had come to my house the night before for a glow-up (truly a game changer) and then hopped on a direct flight the next morning… less than 3 hours later, I was in paradise!!

Stayed at and honestly didn’t have to leave once. Restaurants, bars, a jazz lounge (highlight of the trip 🎶), endless pools, water park, beach club… everything you could want in one place. No commuting, no stress, just pure vacation mode.

Okay can we talk about Sylvestro for a second?! 🍸 It opened last fall connected to and has been on my list since — and y’all, it did not disappoint.

The atmosphere alone is worth it — super moody, intimate, and just elevated without being stuffy. The kind of place that feels like a hidden gem even though people are clearly already onto it (for good reason!).

Now let’s talk about the Fitzhugh Fizz. I went in fully intending to photograph multiple cocktails like I always do… and then I took one sip and that plan was cancelled. We ordered these alllll night and I regret nothing lol. When I tell you it’s my new favorite cocktail — I mean it.

One thing to know before you go: it’s first come first serve (no reservations!), but the manager told me the wait usually moves pretty quickly — and you can grab a drink at the bar while you wait!

My honest review of Little Ruby’s (newly opened in Dallas) 💁🏼‍♀️

Let’s just make this known— the patio alone makes it worth booking. Since I was on antibiotics (ugh 😩), I gave the N/A spritzes a chance and they absolutely held their own. Give me something yummy to sip on outdoors and I’m happy lol.

The pita that came with the avocado dip tasted soooo freshly baked, the burger was solid, and dessert stole the show. Pasta is officially on my “next time” list 🍝

😬 Service felt a bit in-progress. We were there for 3 hours and frequently looking around for help or waiting. I usually wait a bit longer after opening to try out new spots so they can get in their grooves, but a friend had just been there and said service was 10/10! So it may have just been my experience.

I feel like I need to go back— maybe for brunch or lunch on a nice afternoon?! I’m curious to hear from anyone else who’s been so far! LMK 👇

Love on the brain, French toast on the table 🥞❤️ I talk incessantly about the brunch at because it’s just THAT good.
