Storytime! Losing weight was really difficult for me at first because I wanted to be able to do it by adding exercise and “eating a little less.” When that only made a marginal difference, I finally accepted I needed to do a mindful caloric deficit alongside the exercise to get the results that I personally wanted. I decided to prioritize protein and fiber, so I looked for low calorie options with high protein and high fiber. I also used a calorie counting app (which I no longer need) in order to get real with myself
