Whether you’re training for the 1 Mile, 5K, or 10K, no workout is worth risking your health. Please keep these safety tips in mind:

💧 Hydrate before, during, and after your workout
🌞 Avoid the hottest part of the day when possible
👟 Wear appropriate footwear and light-colored clothing
⚡ Monitor the weather and seek shelter immediately if lightning is nearby
🤝 Train with a friend or let someone know your route
🛑 Listen to your body—if you feel dizzy, overheated, or fatigued, stop and rest
