This project started with one idea :
creating more privacy for a teenager.

But it quickly became about more than that.

Because designing for this stage of life
isn’t just about function…it’s also about identity.

We focused on both:

– A layout that feels separate, but still connected to home
– Layered lighting to soften the space
– Warm, minimal materials that don’t feel heavy
– And a clean, elevated style that feels personal — not temporary

A basement like this shouldn’t feel like an afterthought.
It should feel like their own world designed with intention. 🖤

Why we sometimes say no …

Not every idea is right for the space

even if it looks beautiful on its own.

And part of our job

is knowing when something will disturb the balance

We don’t design to please in the moment, we design to make a home feel right for years.

Sometimes the best design decision is saying no!

Before we design we take a moment to read the space:

how the light moves

where it feels quiet

where it feels open

Every space already has

a rhythm

a direction

a feeling

Our job is not to change it but to understand it

Don’t treat it as a small detail / faucets define the entire feeling of the bathroom
• Invest in quality, this is something you use and touch every single day
• Pay attention to the finish, it sets the tone (matte, brushed, polished…)
• Think about proportions, the size and shape must fit the space and sink perfectly
• Choose one faucet line and carry it throughout the house
• Keep consistency across all bathrooms, it creates a calm, cohesive design language
• Avoid mixing too many styles, simplicity always feels more timeless

Art doesn’t have to be high-end to feel intentional.
