At EPFH, every $1 equals food for 7 meals for someone who is hungry. We're honored to help their mission to combat the hunger crisis in the region. We're proud to support their vital operations with a donation from our proposed Desert Southwest Pipeline project.

Our leadership team recently visited the construction site of the new Dallas pediatric campus to celebrate Energy Transfer's $15 million gift, the largest philanthropic donation in our company’s history.
Our co-CEO Tom Long spoke at the event, highlighting our deep commitment to the health and wellbeing of future generations in Dallas and across the country.

Gov. Katie Hobbs announced her support for the Desert Southwest Pipeline that will bring more natural gas into Arizona. The Democratic governor said a top priority of her administration is ensuring Arizona families and businesses have “reliable and affordable energy.”
“With existing pipelines fully subscribed, securing additional natural gas capacity is critical to supporting Arizona’s long-term prosperity,” she said. “The Desert Southwest Pipeline will significantly increase our state’s energy capacity and diversify our energy resources.”

Company : On June 1, 2017, Energy Transfer announced that the Dakota Access Pipeline and the Energy Transfer Crude Oil Pipeline, collectively known as the "Bakken Pipeline," began commercial service.
“The Dakota Access Pipeline is a vital component of energy infrastructure, not only for North Dakota’s oil production and economy, but also for broader American energy security. Both the State of North Dakota and the MHA Nation benefit through increased tax revenues and royalty payments driven by improved pricing for Bakken oil,” said Ron Ness, president of the North Dakota Petroleum Council.

On May 28, 2024, Energy Transfer announced plans to acquire WTG Midstream for $3.25 billion, adding the largest private Permian gas gathering and processing business to our portfolio. The transaction expanded our network in the Midland Basin core with eight processing plants and over 6,000 miles of gas gathering pipelines.

North Dakota Supreme Court Blocks Greenpeace's Collateral Attack on a Jury's Verdict Greenpeace International (GPI) suffered a setback in its attempt to sidestep a $345 million judgment when the North Dakota Supreme Court instructed the district court to issue an antisuit injunction against a parallel lawsuit pending in a Dutch court.

On this day in 2010, Energy Transfer completed its acquisition of the general partner of Regency Energy Partners LP. In addition, Regency acquired a 49.9% ownership interest in the Midcontinent Express Pipeline from Energy Transfer.
Then later in 2015, Energy Transfer and Regency fully merged to become one of the largest gathering and processing MLPs in the U.S. with a broadened portfolio in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays.
