If you have not been to Chartres and experienced this incredible site, then you owe it to yourself to make your own France "pilgrimage" to feel the renewed Chartres Cathedral. I cannot wait to see it again. Undoubtedly my most favorite Cathedral in all of Europe. And when I read the last two paragraphs of this article I was elated to see that my friend, Malcolm Miller with whom I spent 2 full days in the Cathedral back in 1999 approves. Malcolm has been giving tours of the Cathedral for some 60 years and he had this to say about the restoration, “I think it’s marvelous.” Check out the article for the pictures. They are stunning.
