Yo! If AI can write your business blogs, captions, emails… Then that content is no longer authority building for you.

One of the biggest business shifts happening right now? Content generation like articles and blogs and newsletter subscriptions that USED to give you access to hard to get expert-level data… has quickly become a commodity.

AI can now write:
→ captions
→ blogs
→ emails

But there’s something AI still cannot replicate:
Human CONNECTION.

The businesses that grow the most in the next decade will be the ones that learn to use AI but also invest deeply in real human relationships.

It’s time to ask:
“How do I create DEEPER connection to people?”

Because that’s where future opportunity, influence, and revenue will come from.

International selling requires more than a great product.

It requires understanding HOW different cultures communicate, build trust, negotiate, and make buying decisions.

This June, I’ll be coaching Egyptian businesses preparing to travel to New York City for the Summer Fancy Food Show on:
“Selling to American Buyers.”

What makes this work meaningful to me is that these businesses are ALREADY experts at what they do.

Many have incredible products, deep manufacturing knowledge, strong sales and export skills, and rich cultural traditions behind their brands.

The challenge usually is NOT the quality of the product.

The challenge is learning how to position, communicate, pitch, and SELL within the expectations of the American retail market.

Small differences matter:
→ how Americans present value
→ how buyers expect information structured
→ packaging communication
→ confidence and pacing during pitches
→ understanding retail expectations and objections
→ simplifying messaging so it lands quickly

A product can be exceptional and still struggle commercially if the communication doesn’t translate culturally.

I’m honored to partner with and the to support founders preparing for this opportunity.

These businesses are bringing generations of expertise, flavor, craftsmanship, and innovation to the U.S. market — and I’m excited to help them present that value with clarity and confidence at the Fancy Food Show in NYC this June.

One of the biggest mistakes growing businesses make (across every industry) is overpromising in order to win the opportunity.

Businesses get excited about the DREAM client… the HUGE purchase order… the massive opportunity…

Growth is about accepting orders that SCALE with your business.

Sometimes the smartest thing a business can do is say:
“We’re not ready for that volume yet… but we CAN successfully fulfill this smaller order first.”

That level of honesty can actually BUILD trust.

Because trust is not created through hype.

It’s created through transparency, planning, communication, and consistently delivering on what you promised.

⚠️ A huge order you cannot properly execute can cost you the client forever.

In this conversation with from , we talk about trust, transparency, forecasting, and the systems businesses need as they scale… and why it requires a SCALE strategy.

One of the biggest mistakes people make in sales and pitching?

They think people stop responding because they aren’t interested… or because they need MORE information.

But the truth is usually much simpler than that.

People hesitate because they feel uncertainty and disconnection.

→ “What if this doesn’t work?”
→ “What if this is risky?”
→ “What if I make the wrong decision?”

The human brain is constantly scanning for risk.

That’s why the most important part of a pitch is not just the presentation itself…

It’s the QUESTIONS you ask and your RESPONSE to the answers.

A great pitch is dynamic — almost like improv.

It’s reacting.
Listening.
Searching for hesitation.
Understanding someone’s decision-making criteria in real time.

Because selling is really about CONNECTION.

People want to feel:
→ understood
→ heard
→ supported
→ confident you genuinely care about their needs

And when someone truly feels that from you, resistance drops dramatically.

The people who understand THAT are usually the ones who build the strongest long-term relationships, brands, and businesses.

We need more 100% natural drinks… like AllWello delivers. Which is why I love them — as a consumer.

100% natural, real cold-pressed
Non-GMO
No added sugars or preservatives

Their juices, wellness shots, lemonades, and protein drinks make you feel GOOD about what you’re putting into your body.

I love working with brands like this.

🤯 BUT… great products don’t automatically go viral and sell.

That’s one of the hardest parts about being a founder. You have a WILDLY good product, but SCALING is hard work.

You work inside your business every day, and you have so much wisdom and passion.

But sometimes you need help seeing the opportunities, confusion points, and small improvements that could help customers understand the value faster — and buy faster.

💥 That’s my entire goal in coaching.

Not to change the founder’s vision. Not to take over the brand.

Just to help founders communicate and position their value more clearly so they can sell more confidently and effectively.

Sometimes the changes are big. Sometimes they’re surprisingly small.

But a second perspective with your priorities in mind… changes everything.

Our work together often includes:
→ simplifying packaging communication
→ strengthening buyer presentations
→ refining positioning and messaging
→ helping customers immediately understand WHY the brand matters

Hearing feedback like this from Nora Cohen, CEO of AllWello, means a lot because she is the type of founder I want to buy from. And I love helping her make all her plans stronger.

If your face is all over your website…
If you’re still the contact for your largest accounts…
If every major decision depends on you…

That’s a warning sign.

Because your business is still built around you, and THAT makes it risky… and less valuable than it could be if you just built yourself out of a job.

Buyers don’t pay top dollar for dependency on the guy or girl leaving.

They pay for transferable wealth… systems… relationships… and stability that works without the founder at the center.

If employees rely on your daily decisions, or clients only trust the relationship because it’s tied to your name, your valuation will reflect that risk…

Strong exits are intentional and planned! You make a sales plan JUST LIKE the plan you used to sell to your original customers.

You begin the “exiting” process before you actually exit.

Document processes.
Elevate your team.
Shift key relationships beyond you.

That’s how you build leverage.
That’s how you protect value.

I want you to go from STARTtoSOLD!

P.S. Want help? Check out our paid training: “7 Steps to Sell Your Business for More.”

This evergreen video training and worksheet will help you evaluate your business, identify potential risks, and determine your valuation range — with a clear checklist so you’re prepared to receive the full value your business deserves. Link in bio 👆

Shallow networking creates the “ick.” Why?

Because it comes off as selfish.

Real and powerful networking only happens when you are seeking alignment (that is, MUTUAL ground and benefit) with the other person.

We’ve all experienced the opposite — the quick handshake, the business card exchange, the subtle feeling of being evaluated for usefulness.

That energy is easy to detect. And it rarely turns into anything meaningful.

Strong relationships aren’t built on “How can you help me?”

They’re built on:
• Curiosity
• Presence
• Shared values
• Genuine celebration of someone else’s wins

When you walk into a trade show, conference, or even a neighborhood event, shift your intention.

→ Instead of seeking benefit, seek common ground.
→ Instead of scanning for influence, look for resonance.
→ Instead of positioning, practice presence.

That’s where magnetic conversations begin… and long-term partnerships are formed.

Alignment creates magnetic connection.

If this perspective resonates, I’d love to hear your story.
Have you ever met a stranger who changed your direction simply because you aligned?

Now is the time.

Feeling burnt out and entering a “slump” in your business? I’ve been there — running a business means everything needs your attention.

What should you focus on as you SCALE?

I find that owners who suddenly struggle with profit, revenue, or finding clients have accidentally forgotten the variables that created their success to begin with — and then IGNORED them.

We all get blind spots. In fact, it happens multiple times throughout our lives depending on the season. It’s happened to me too!

I want to share a tool to help you re-focus, reduce stress, and gain clarity again.

I earned my Master’s in Economics at USC, where we focused on simplifying complex problems with simple formulas to study how variables influence the final equation.

This is a formula you will feel like you already know, but we can use it to identify variables you can control and prioritize.

YOUR PROFIT FORMULA:
PROFIT = REVENUE - COSTS

I’ll break down the process I use with my 1:1 clients in more detail on the START to SOLD blog 👉https://starttosold.net/post/small-business-owners-prioritize-growth-profit-formula/

Business gets a whole lot less stressful when you know what variables are driving success — and how to use them.

I bought my first business at 30.

Not because I had a perfect plan.
Not because I felt confident.

But because my life had just fallen apart.

After a divorce I didn’t see coming, I had no house, no car, no job — and no clear direction. What I did have was a conversation at a party with someone looking to sell his packaging company.

The conversation started out of curiosity.
It felt like a glimpse of what could happen in my life.
It also felt impossible.

What if I failed?
What if I wasn’t capable?

Instead of overthinking it, I tested it. I went to a trade show. I pitched. I networked. I closed a $25K order.

That wasn’t just revenue. It was proof.

What changed my life wasn’t luck. It was seeking “alignment” with someone else.

I wasn’t looking for my “solution” — I was looking to understand and connect with someone.

I had genuine curiosity. I asked questions.
I built trust by listening and understanding his pain points.

That relationship became a “test” to sell my business → mentorship → partnership → and a completely new career.

If you’re in a hard season or uncertain transition, don’t underestimate the next aligned conversation.

PEOPLE…. People are the greatest resources. Opportunities are often hidden inside relationships — not perfectly mapped strategies.

Seek alignment. Create win-wins…. Repeating for emphasis… wins for other people.

That’s how we grow from START to SOLD.

Growth rarely slows because you lack ambition. It slows because you lack clarity.

→ Clarity on why your customers buy
→ Clarity on how to communicate your difference
→ Clarity on what to prioritize next

That’s where real coaching matters.

A true coach is a partner who:

• Has built and sold, hired and fired… done the “thing”
• Can challenge your thinking and encourage you
• Holds your stress without judgment
• Helps you make confident decisions that move the needle

If you need a place to think clearly and move strategically…

If you’re ready to wrestle forward and grow with intention, let’s talk.
