I was in the Army and served in the infantry in Vietnam & was wounded in my 7th month of my combat tour I am a 50% disabled Latino Vietnam Veteran. Orale y que?

We were called "Grunts". Do you know where term originated?
As infantrymen, our load we carried on our backs were very heavy, 70 - 90 pounds. The in-country military noncombatants joked about how we grunted when we marched when loaded down. Instead of taking offense, we proudly embraced the no B.S. title of "GRUNT"!
