Good Afternoon Faithful Volunteers and Supporters. I had the privilege of attending the SMU Dedmen School of Law - VanSickle Family Law Clinic 10-Year Celebration yesterday. This program provides pro bono legal services for family and probate matters. Over the 10 year history of the Legal Clinic, Professor Brantley and her amazing team have assisted over 2000 participants while providing opportunities for their law students to obtain hands on experience. Congrats on a job well done and the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Center (DCDRC) wishes this program continued success.

I would like to thank Michlle Alden, Director of the Dallas Volunteer Program and her team for allowing me to participate in their monthly meeting. I discussed the intricacies of the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Center (DCDRC) and how both programs work to serve the less fortunate in the Dallas County Community. Keep up the great work DVAP which is affiliated with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas.

I would like to thank Irene Perez Zucker, President of the North Texas TAM orchestrating tonight's Training. I would also like to thank Dr. Gene Roberts, Associate Dean of Students at Sam Houston State University for presenting on the topic of "The State of Mediation". It was very thought provoking topic that will have you wondering what the field of mediation look like in 5-10 years. Have you thought about it? Things that make you say hmmm!

Good Afternoon Faithful Volunteers and Supporters. I would like to thank Sharon Corsentino, Esq., Lisbeth Bulmash, Esq, and Allison Ellis, Esq. who serves as the Executive Director for the Association of Attorney Mediators North Texas Chapter for hosting a networking social at the Renaissance Hotel in Plano Texas. The event was open to all mediators with a special invitation being extended to the Dallas County Dispute Resolution Staff and Volunteers. It was a great time and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
I hope all of our Faithful Volunteers and Supporters are home safe and staying off the roads today. The DCDRC staff are in a remote status today. We will see what tomorrow brings.
