A non-profit that rescues excess food from suppliers and redistributes it to food pantries that provide the food directly to hungry families.
FoodSourceUSA is a non-profit organization that redistributes excess food from suppliers to local assistance programs that will distribute the food directly to those who are in hunger. Not only are stomachs getting full with fresh fruit, produce, prepared foods, and snacks, but the environmental benefits cannot be ignored. This is food that would eventually rot and end up in a landfill. Instead we
Food Source responded to the needs of tornado victims in Marietta, Oklahoma. Thanks to Quaker/PepsiCo we delivered an 18 wheeler load of food and Gatorade on 3 May 2024. Below is a news clip from KOCO TV Oklahoma City reporting on our efforts to help people in need.
Marietta's only grocery stores were destroyed by an F4 tornado. Message me if you would like to donate or help with these efforts.

Went to visit my dear friend and one of our major partner hubs, Pastor Karen Belknap, today at Inspired Vision Compassion Center. Thanks to two of our major grocery donors, Quaker Oats and Trader Joe's, they received SEVEN truckloads of much needed food, water, other beverages, even pallets of flower bouquets to give to hungry hurting families. Yesterday they provided groceries to over 2,100 families. They also provide numerous other services including an in-house children's medical clinic.

We've had some good fortune this week in these difficult times. Quaker Oats, Dallas, has donated 5 truckloads, 250,000 pounds of food and beverages. We also picked up a new donor. Trader Joe's is donating a truckload tomorrow. God is good. We are asking for donations to help pay for trucking. $1,800 will cover the trucking costs for 6 semi loads. That's less than one penny per pound, and will help feed several thousand families. Many have lost their jobs in the pandemic, and are without power and water in Dallas. Thank you.
