FoodSourceUSA is a non-profit organization that redistributes excess food from suppliers to local assistance programs that will distribute the food directly to those who are in hunger. Not only are stomachs getting full with fresh fruit, produce, prepared foods, and snacks, but the environmental benefits cannot be ignored. This is food that would eventually rot and end up in a landfill. Instead we are able to leverage available resources and proprietary technology to move this food at ZERO cost to the food assistance program or the hungry family.
Food Source responded to the needs of tornado victims in Marietta, Oklahoma. Thanks to Quaker/PepsiCo we delivered an 18 wheeler load of food and Gatorade on 3 May 2024. Below is a news clip from KOCO TV Oklahoma City reporting on our efforts to help people in need.
