Today, we celebrate the life and impact of Martin Luther King Jr. His life and legacy causes me to reflect on a couple things.

- A voice and a community has the ability to change the culture and landscape.

- A person can make mistakes and still make an impact.

We should not turn a blind eye to wrongdoing, whether it’s our heroes or those persecuting. Take a stand for what is true, take courage, and watch how one voice can turn into millions.

Empowerment isn’t giving people freedom; it’s giving them structure they can stand on.

If your team is exhausted, check the system before you check the people. Burnout is usually structural, not personal.
