🎥 Volunteers Needed: Join the 2026 NBFF Jury

kNOwBOX dance is now accepting sign-ups for our 2026 Volunteer Jury for the kNOwBOX dance Film Festival.

Volunteer jurors play a vital role in our curatorial process by reviewing and rating submitted dance films on FilmFreeway. This is a meaningful way to support independent artists, engage with movement on screen, and gain insight into how an international dance film festival comes together.

Who can apply?
Artists, filmmakers, educators, students, scholars, and dance supporters.
No prior jury experience required.

What’s involved?
• Watch and rate assigned dance films
• Participate in the early selection process
• Support global, experimental, and movement-driven work
• Be part of the NBFF community behind the scenes

📢 Concert Rescheduled

In consideration for the safety of our musicians, collaborating schools, and patrons amid forecasts of the impending winter storm in the Dallas area, the Lone Star Wind Orchestra has rescheduled its 20th Anniversary Season Celebration.

The event will now take place on Sunday, February 22nd at 3:00 PM at the Meyerson Symphony Center.

We regret any inconvenience this change may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the well‑being of our community. We look forward to welcoming you in February for this milestone celebration.
