Last week, we worked with a new client to assess their cybersecurity posture.
Like many first-time assessments, it came with some hard truths, but that’s where real progress starts.

Sam has been with Team Velo for over a hundred years... JK JK, but he's been here for as long as we can remember, and he is one of the most down-to-earth, capable human beings on the planet. He's tackled every kind of problem you can imagine from data center issues to strategic planning and owning initiatives to improve the organization. This guy is someone you can count on in a bind. He will help you understand the most complex technical jargon, he'll make you laugh as you learn, and he is always down for some tacos.

Kazi has been with Velo for several years and recently joined our Strength Team 💪💪💪, where he takes a hands-on approach to assessing and documenting client IT environments. Through regular onsite visits, he ensures best practices are in place and lays the foundation for future IT improvements.
With his thorough documentation and alignment reports, Kazi—alongside his clients' vCIO, Roderick—helps clients gain a clear, complete picture of their IT systems and networks. Who doesn't love a good makeover story?
We recently installed some new high-performance switches and provided some much-improved cable management for one of our clients. With this improved infrastructure, the teams depending on this network will experience improved reliability, uptime, and overall less interruption to their work! Newly implemented network segmentation adds a layer of security and a healthy dose of order to what was an aging, unreliable network. A stronger, safer network—built for the future.
