As Child Abuse Prevention Month wraps up, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the advocates, leaders and community partners across the state who dedicate their lives to strengthening families.

Together, we can build a future where every child grows up safe, protected, nurtured and thriving!

Thank you to DFPS Commissioner Audrey O’Neill, special guests and all who joined us today in Austin on the South Steps of the Capitol for the Proclamation of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Seeing our community come together reminds us that while the work of prevention happens every day, our collective voice can drive impactful change.

A powerful morning at the Dallas County Commissioners Court!

TexProtects was honored to be part of the official proclamation designating April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. We are especially grateful to Commissioner Theresa Daniel for presenting the proclamation and for her continued leadership in prioritizing the safety of our children.

Real change happens in partnership. We are proud to stand alongside our Dallas County partners, including the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, Dallas CASA, Family Compass, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Dallas and so many others. Together, we remain united in our commitment to ensuring every child in Dallas County grows up safe, protected and thriving.

Today marks the start of Child Abuse Prevention Month!

Prevention happens in partnership, and it starts with us showing up for our families. Let’s build a future where every child is safe and nurtured.

Attention maternal health providers and community partners! Texas Health and Human Services has released a new RFA for the Maternal Health Outcomes Program.

This is a great opportunity to strengthen community-based systems and improve outcomes for pregnant and postpartum women across Texas.
